Making An Appointment

Appointments will be telephone triaged.

Please telephone the surgery (01978 760413) as early as possible, our lines open at 8am on weekday mornings.

Your request for an appointment will be dealt with by a member of our Care Navigation Team initially.  You will be asked to confirm your contact details (Home and Mobile phone numbers ideally) and if necessary you will be signposted to an appropriate service, offered a time slot for a Health Care Professional to call you back or booked a face to face appointment.

Priority is given to sick children, those who are immunocompromised and patients who are receiving palliative/end of life care.

Please Note: Our Care Navigation Team are working with guidance from BCUHB and WAG for local services and practice protocols. You will be asked for a description of your symptoms to help our team in signposting you to the most appropriate clinician. Please be courteous to our staff who are following the protocols and policies of the practice and NHS. Please bear in mind that all calls to the practice are recorded and we operate a zero tolerance policy against abusive/aggressive behaviour towards our staff.

Please note:  If you call early in the morning you will be offered an appointment within 24 hours with a health care professional.

Important Reminder: If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason, please  call 01978 760413 as soon as possible so that we can then offer the appointment to another patient. Or alternatively certain appointments can be cancelled via NHS Wales App (if you have an account registered)
